Figure Ground Relationships

Alright after a great many attempts I have finally managed to get this freaking picture to load. Seriously. Google + on an iPhone? Really not your best bet. If you've got a computer, use that instead! 

Logos, Brands and Lovemarks

This assignment was to create a logo based on the story we used in the Grid, Sequence, Story assignment.  I chose to focus on the fact that I had a seriously sucky time, I wanted something with a lot of contrast, with a ragged feel to it.  This is what came out of quite a few roughs and time.

This assignment was supposed to be inspired by our experiences at MCC, and being a new student, I didn't have that many to draw upon, so I choose to detail the day I got locked into campus.  I had gotten out of class early and was excited to use the time to get food before work, but I was not early enough, as I was leaving they were shutting down every exit to Spencer Street.  The only way I knew to get to the high way was through Spencer Street.  For awhile I couldn't even navigate successfully out of campus and then once I did my GPS kept trying to take me out Spencer Street and then I got flat out lost trying to figure out how to get to 384 to take 291.  I was almost late to work that day.  Needless to say it was one of my worst driving experiences to date, and I never even got lunch!
